More White Stone Circles, Caches, Har Karkom, Israel; e) hk93 #4 elephant

HK93a. "In the middle of the central promontory, 3 hut floors are aligned in a row in a N-S direction and are connected by a path. Middle Palaeolithic site. Finds: BAC Flint; worked flints of the Middle Palaeolithic period. Some 40 m to the south, an LP chopping tool. 30 m north, below the cliff, an Acheulean hand-axe" (according to E. Anati; http://www.harkarkom.com/Hkcorpus1-99.php).

Tentative interpretation (James Harrod): Flint, found in white limestone stone circle. Vaguely zoomorphic, suggestive of an elephant.
