Aterian hutfloor HK 148b in its landscape setting, E. Anati Har Karkom Expedition, 4 April 1996. Facing west to the twin peaks, the highest points on the mesa. The hutfloor is visible as a large circular cleared area in the hamada, the surface of flint pebbles and nodules. The photo is annotated to indicate the numbered locations of the artifacts discussed in this and the other two HK148b image galleries. For the most part, these artifacts were found along the inner edge of the hutfloor.
