HK19A and 19B, Har Karkom, Israel, c. 128,000 to 50,000 BP; i) hk19b #1 equidhead

From the white stone circle, in hutfloor, HK19B. Placed on heavy weight paper background. Size: 14 cm. by 8 cm. maximal distances.

Tentative interpretation (James Harrod): Intentionally engraved artifact; zoomorphic, equid head, horse or wild ass, facing right. Eye chip at point about 1/3 way toward nostril chips (eye chip faintly visible in photo, clearer on direct examination). Surely a masterpiece of workmanship.
